We stopped here by chance this evening whilst driving past and oh are we glad we did, the food was absolutely delicious, exactly what we were looking for after already walking out of 3 pubs/restaurants looking for somewhere to eat. Reasonably priced for the quality of food, the actual place itself is stunning and so relaxing. We 100% will be returning. 10/10 recommend
This was a last-minute night away with a lady friend of mine. It was booked for less than £100 and we thought it was really worth the money, in fact I've stayed in places twice as expensive, and they have been nowhere near as nice.. The location was amazing, the building itself was beautiful, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and tidy. The next day we went down for the included breakfast, which was extremely well made. I'll definitely be visiting again, when they have the bar and restaurant up and running, because you really couldn't ask for more.
Wonderful little hotel! Very peaceful location, feels very out of the way and relaxed, like staying in a posh cottage. Seemingly very few staff onsite but the place was really well looked after. The room was immaculately presented, proper kettle etc, great tea and coffee selection. Breakfast was fantastic too. If I had to nit-pick then larger teacups would be nice and the shower wasn't very intuitive, but these are very minor points. I wish I had time to explore the grounds as it looked beautiful.
3 night stay & this place feels like home! Sympathetically uplifting & mixing the old with the new - aesthetically pleasing & very comfortable. A good breakfast & our dog was made as welcome as us! Highly recommended 5 stars!
